Evangelizing people to faith in Jesus Christ, and equipping them for eternal salvation in the Kingdom Of God.
Greetings from Ministers
Senior Minister
Welcome to East
Union Christian Church! Central Indiana is a wonderful place to
live and work. The bounty of God's grace is available here in all
seasons. East Union encourages each person to be a caring member
focused on Jesus Christ as the foundation of all aspects of our
life. It is especially exciting to watch God prepare the "workers"
for the season ahead.
My
name is Rex Dunning, minister of East Union Christian Church. My
wife Charlene and I want to welcome you to the website of East
Union. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about
what we believe and why we believe. We even have information about
how we are structured to accomplish our church mission, which is
repeated on each page of this website. You are certainly welcome to
come to our church building located at the crossroads of US 31 and
296th Street, Atlanta, Indiana. We know you will experience the
warmth and love we share with one another and for our Lord Jesus
Christ throughout our website and in person as we worship God
everyday of the week.
In
Christian Love,
Rex
Dunning, Minister.
Our goal is to
reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We invite every one
to come and try us out. We are here to serve you with Spiritual
help for daily living.
We
believe that the most important work we can do is to preach and
teach the Word of God, the Bible. The Bible tells us that, "Faith
cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." Romans 10:17. In
a world where truth is hard to find, we know that the Bible, God's
Holy Word, is the one truth that we all need to have a right
relationship with God.
Come
and study with us, bringing your children and entire family. Let
God reveal Himself to you through His very Word, the
Bible.
We
wish you all God's blessings unto salvation.

East
Union believes intentional relationships are the
key to sustained spiritual growth. That's why Sunday School classes
are such an important part of our ministry strategy. In Sunday
School, we study God's Word together and discuss the issues and
challenges of life. It's also where we pray for, care for and are
missed if we don't show up.

Everybody
worships something. And a sure sign of what we value most is seen
in how we spend our time, energy, money, and loyalty. As followers
of Christ we seek to lead a lifestyle of worship that points people
toward a relationship with Christ. Worship is a part of our
everyday lives, not just something that happens in an auditorium on
a weekend. While attendance at worship services is a good first
step toward a lifestyle of worship, it is just that – a
step.
Wednesday Night
Bible Study is every
week
at 7 pm. Join us as we dive into the chapters of the Bible that
insipire us, challenge us or we have questions about. Come with
Bible in hand. Also let us know if there is a chapter you would
like to recommend for study.
A
student's first step in our youth ministry is to
get
connected. We have a lot of great entry points for students. A good
first step for a student is to attend our Sunday morning Bible
School classes, Sunday Night youth group, a special event, a trip,
or a service project. Attending any of these environments will help
get a student connected. The next step for a student in our
ministry is to practice and experience personal ministry. Student
impact is a group of students who are each experiencing personal,
hands-on ministry and making an impact in their church, their
school and their world. Student Impact happens whenever a student
from our ministry serves in the
community or
church.
